Where Providence
Meets Justice

Advocate Rink — Specialist Counsel for Labour Law, Contract Law, and Commercial Litigation.

Advocate of the High Court of South Africa Legal Practice Council — Member

Are You Facing a Legal Matter?

Do any of these sound familiar?

You have been dismissed, retrenched or disciplined, and the CCMA clock is already running.

A contract has been breached, an invoice is unpaid, and the other side has stopped answering.

A business, shareholder or partnership dispute is heading for court and you need it argued properly.

A divorce, estate or property matter is turning your family life upside down.

You do not have to work it out alone. Talk to Adv R. Rink — the first step is a straightforward conversation about where you stand.

Practice Areas

Specialist counsel. One standard of care.

Labour law, contract law and commercial litigation are where Adv R. Rink practises deepest — supported by a broad general practice. Whatever brings you to the door, the approach is the same: listen first, advise honestly, act decisively.

Rows of bound law reports on library shelves

Labour Law

Your job is your livelihood, and the deadlines are short. We act in unfair dismissal and unfair labour practice disputes, CCMA and bargaining council conciliation and arbitration, disciplinary hearings, retrenchment consultations, restraint of trade matters and Labour Court reviews and appeals — for employees who have been treated unfairly and for employers who need to get the process right the first time.

Contract Law

A contract is only as good as the day it is tested. We draft and review agreements so they say what you actually mean, advise on interpretation and cancellation, and pursue or defend breach of contract claims — including damages, specific performance, suretyships and supply and service agreements. Sound drafting now is far cheaper than argument later.

Discuss your matter

Commercial Litigation

When a dispute cannot be settled, it must be argued and won. We draft letters of demand and pleadings, institute and defend claims in the Magistrates' Courts and the High Court, bring urgent applications and interdicts, and handle debt recovery and shareholder and partnership disputes — pursuing settlement where it serves you and judgment where it does not.

Company Law

From registering your first company to keeping an established one compliant, we advise on incorporations, shareholder and partnership agreements, commercial contracts and governance questions — sound structure now prevents expensive disputes later.

Discuss your matter

Family Law

Few matters cut closer to home. We guide you through divorce, maintenance claims, custody and contact arrangements, and domestic violence protection orders — protecting your children and your dignity while we protect your rights.

Discuss your matter

Property Law

Your home or land is usually your biggest asset. We assist with property transfers, sale and lease agreements, boundary and servitude disputes, and eviction matters — making sure what is yours stays yours, on paper and in fact.

Discuss your matter

Estate Law

A valid will is foresight in action. We draft wills that say exactly what you intend, administer deceased estates from reporting to final distribution, and resolve disputes between heirs — so grief is not compounded by paperwork.

Discuss your matter

Tax Law

A letter from SARS is not a verdict. We object to and appeal assessments, negotiate payment arrangements and voluntary disclosures, and advise on compliance before problems arise — because the best tax dispute is the one you never have.

Discuss your matter

Immigration Law

Your future in South Africa should not turn on a form. We assist with visa and permit applications, renewals, appeals against refusals, and permanent residence — presenting your case properly the first time, and fighting for it if it is refused.

About

Advocate R.R. Rink

Adv R. Rink is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa and a member of the Legal Practice Council, practising from Rietfontein outside Brits in the North West Province. The practice serves the people and businesses of Brits, Hartbeespoort, Madibeng and the wider North West — employees and employers, farmers, families and entrepreneurs who need capable counsel without big-city pretence or big-city fees.

The specialisms are labour law, contract law and commercial litigation: the disputes that decide whether a person keeps their job, whether a business keeps its money, and whether an agreement is worth the paper it was signed on. Around that sits a general practice covering family, property, estate, company, tax and immigration matters.

The philosophy is written above the door: With Providence, Justice Prevails. In practice that means preventing a dispute rather than litigating one, telling you the truth about your case from day one, and, when a fight is unavoidable, preparing it to be won.

Every matter begins the same way: a consultation where you talk and we listen. You leave that first meeting knowing three things — where you stand, what your options are, and what each will cost. From there you are kept informed at every step until your matter is resolved. Law is complicated; dealing with Adv R. Rink should not be.
